Norwegian/ Irish female currently undertaking a PhD at UCA Rochester, UK. I am also part of Unlearn Grafics with my sista Joana Taya.
Since starting my studies in 2001 I have explored different creative design directions from graphic design to webdesign, performance, video art and product design.
Design and communication to me, is about thinking, about structure, developing new systems and new ways of seeing the world around us. How can we better communication between people? What are the potentials of visual language? Visual language can potentially reach across geographical and cultural borders in a way that no other language can, here lies my fascination with media/design.
I enjoy exloring my interests in life; traveling, differences in culture, analyzing the self in relation to others, and while doing so my art and design develops; new experiences, thoughts, frustrations and difficulties are shaped into new pieces of art, design and performance.
